Eliza Dushku Interview in Buffy Magazine

The latest issue of the Buffy Magazine (Issue #24, April/May 2006) features Eliza Dushku on the cover. It contains a great interview with her, where she discusses Faith, Tru Calling, her latest roles, what it was like recording the voice overs for Chaos Bleeds, and her desire to play Wonder Woman in the Joss Whedon directed upcoming flick.

Oh, yeah, and she says she would love to play Faith again:

That said, there's only one person for whom Eliza avowes she would play almost any role, including reprising Faith: Joss Whedon. "I would follow that man almost anywhere! He's such a good friend and he's such a genius, and he writes women and he gets women. Every single script, and every single scene that I had with him, I felt amazing about."

Faith Meets Dawson?

According to newspaper The Acorn, indie filmmaker Theo Avgerinos has cast Eliza Dushku and James Van Der Beek (best known for playing Dawson in Dawson's Creek) in his upcoming film, Zoe. The movie is about two brothers who own a Greek restaurant who are after the same girl (played by Eliza). The movie is described as a combination of Good Will Hunting and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. It will film in Montréal at an undisclosed date.

Theo Avgerino has an affinity for WB/UPN stars, since his debut film, Fifty Pills (which just premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival) stars Veronica Mars' Kristen Bell.
