More Information about the New Faith Novel, Go Ask Malice

Here is a summary of the new Faith novel, Go Ask Malice: A Slayer's Diary, which is due out
in June:

Faith has a tough time growing up in South Boston, moving from relative to relative, the product of a broken-home; she finds it easier escaping to a fantasy world of monsters along with her imaginary friend Alex than facing the horrors of reality. When Faith is taken to foster care Faith soon discovers that not all nightmares are make-believe. Do the monsters of her childhood really exist?

Diana Dormer arrives and tells Faith that yes they do. The Harvard professor has come on behalf of the Watchers' Council, and tells Faith about her new destiny. Dormer promises to train her and prepare her for what's to come. Faith is the Slayer and gradually she will learn to fight against the vampires and the forces of darkness.

Soon her childhood friend, Alex appears to Faith in a dream. Alex warns Faith that something else is coming for her, a power so dark that even the underworld is worried. Its name is Malice. As memories and reality, dreams and nightmares, get confused, the soul of a Slayer hangs in the balance.

Go Ask Malice: A Slayer's Diary will hit bookstores on June 27th and is written by Robert Joseph Levy. You can pre-order on Amazon.

New Faith Novel?

Amazon lists an upcoming Buffy novel called Go Ask Malice: A Slayer's Diary by Robert Joseph Levy, which features Faith on the cover. It's due to be released on June 27, 2006.

Could this be the long-rumored Faith dairy about her days prior to coming to Sunnydale? There is no description about what the book is about online, but it very well could be.

Robert Joseph Levy has previously written the Buffy novel The Suicide King.
